Crow's Feet: Dynamic Versus Static Lines
Toxin softens the movement that creates lateral canthal lines, but etched static lines need a combined approach.

Assessment
Ask the patient to smile fully. Lines present only on animation respond well to toxin; lines visible at rest are dermal and need skin quality work.
Technique
Injections sit superficially, at least 1cm lateral to the orbital rim, avoiding the zygomaticus major to prevent lip drop.
Fan patterns are adjusted for lower, central or upper fibre dominance.
Combination
Skin boosters, microneedling, retinoids and SPF do more for etched lines than additional units ever will.
